Thousands raised for Tony Calvert fund

RELATIVES of a former Aldershot footballer united to host a charity match and fun day at the EBB Stadium to support his recovery after a heart attack.

Tony Calvert suffered a cardiac arrest while holidaying in Gran Canaria and is now recovering back in the UK.

The event was an early birthday present for Tony, who turned 49 on Monday, but there was a serious objective as well.
