Actress and singer/songwriter Minnie Driver came in to share her Take Five music choices with me on 102.2 Smooth Radio, and what an eye-opener it was.

She had some interesting advice for Britney Spears: “I feel really sorry for her; she needs to get some good people around her… she needs a good scrub and some mashed potatoes.”

When I suggested Britney needed to get back to her mum, she said: “I think she wants to get as far away from her mum as possible.”

An expectant mother, Minnie will be starring with Uma Thurman in her next movie role. I asked if she had any concerns about working up to the last minute of her pregnancy.

Minnie said: “I do hope my water doesn’t break on Uma Thurman’s shoes…”

Let’s hope not, we’ve seen in Uma’s previous movies how she can react!
