Profit Masters take ‘helicopter view’

Company leaders picked up tips on how to boost their profits at the first meeting of a new business club.
Steve Buchanan and Malcolm Ward have set up Profit Masters, a one to three year learning programme that teaches business owners how to focus on the fundamentals to rapidly grow their enterprises.
Keen entrepreneurs headed to the Jazz Café at Madejski Stadium on Thursday for the official launch.
Buchanan said: “The response was overwhelmingly positive.
“Everybody said it was really nice to be able to step back from the day to day and do a helicopter view of their business, rather than being in it.
“It made them start to think about their business in a completely different way.”
The club is aimed at SMEs in the Reading area with a turnover between £50,000 and £400,000.
