Pranksters prank Guildford's Star Inn
November 09, 2011
THE Pranksters Theatre Company return to The Star Inn, Guildford with a hilarious one-act comedy from the Academy Award-winning writer Aaron Sorkin, the man behind Social Network, The West Wing and A Few Good Men.
The local Company will be performing Hiddin In this Picture from Wednesday to Saturday November 16 to 19, at 8.30pm.
One writer and director, one really bad film, three weeks behind schedule and $6.5 million over budget. A producer at the end of his tether and one chance at the final redeeming shot of 694 extras dressed as Marines running down a hill against the setting sun in Guam and three cows. Wait – three cows?!
Winner of 2nd and 3rd Best Show at Leatherhead and Woking Drama Festivals and Best Supporting Actor for Nathan Jones’ brilliant portrayal of the gormless Assistant Director, Hidden in This Picture is a biting comedy about cows, Marines and the absurdity of Hollywood and promises to be a fun, laugh-out-loud evening for all.
Tickets cost £7, £15 meal deal and are available from Guildford Tourist Information Centre 01483 444334.
