Patrick Monahan feels good in Aldershot
March 22, 2012
Following a sell out autumn tour of his brilliant new show Hug Me I Feel Good, comedian Patrick Monahan is on tour again this spring and will be appearing at the West End Centre in Aldershot on Thursday March 28.
‘Irish-Iranian-Teesside’ comedian Patrick Monahan had an amazing 2011- he won the ITV1 series Show Me The Funny, released his debut DVD Patrick Monahan Live and won the 2011 Forth Radio Best Stand-Up People’s Choice Award for his Edinburgh Festival run.
So far this year he has won Best Newcomer at the 2012 Loaded Lafta Awards and he entertained the nation as Katy Perry in Let’s Dance for Sports Relief on BBC1. Patrick is a superb anecdotal comedian – having been brought up in Middlesbrough by his Iranian Mother and Irish Dad he has many hilarious and engaging stories about his heritage.
Since Patrick started performing stand-up he has had a meteoric rise up the comedy ladder and has gone from ‘open spot’ to headliner in an incredibly short length of time. He is now a regular MC and headlining act at the top London and UK comedy clubs including the prestigious Jongleurs circuit and the Comedy Store.
Tickets to see him in Aldershot cost £14 full price and £12 concessions.
