Beaulieu caravan show bigger than ever
September 21, 2010
Adveritising Feature
EVERY year, the Beaulieu estate in the New Forest plays host to the largest display of caravan holiday-homes in the south of England.
The show, run by the Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire Caravan Manufacturers’ Association, takes place this year on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 24th, 25th and 26th September. It will be open from 10am to 5pm each day and admission is £4 per car (which includes all occupants, parking and entry to the show).
As well as the caravan holiday-homes, there will be numerous other exhibitors featuring products and services ranging from decking and other accessories, including soft furnishings, to holiday parks both in the UK and overseas. Leading distributors of holiday-homes will also have stands.
This is the first public showing in the south of England of the majority of the new season’s caravan holiday-homes and lodges and nine manufacturers will display more than 120 of their latest models; they are: ABI, Advent, Carnaby, Pathfinder, Pemberton, Prestige, Swift, Wessex and Willerby (including BK Bluebird). For four of them – Advent, Pathfinder, Prestige and Wessex – it is their first time displaying their models at this event.
Many parks, dealers and accessory suppliers will have displays, including: Asgard, Caravan Seat Cover Centre, Carefree Lifestyle, Devon Caravans, Fensys, Hoburne Parks, LB Plastics, Leisuredays Insurance, Leisure Home Sales France, Mayfield Group, Norian Leisure,T. J. Pears, PM Leisure, Shorefield Holidays, SkyBlue Leisure, Southern Counties Leisure, Supreme Leisure, Surf Bay Caravans, Tall Trees Park, Tingdene Parks and Vinyl Solutions … and more.
Not all the weekend exhibits will be in place on the Friday: this is to enable those interested to have a quieter viewing of the caravan holiday-homes on show.
There will be refreshment stalls on site and on Saturday and Sunday live music will be provided by local bands – plus a bouncy castle for the youngsters.
To find the event, follow the brown tourism signs to Beaulieu and the blue signs to Holiday Caravan Show.
• The organisers emphasise that there will be no touring caravans or motor caravans on show.
• Entry to this event does not entitle visitors to view the Palace or the Motor Museum or other attractions on the estate: a separate admission charge applies; tickets allowing reduced price entry to these attractions will be available from the HERCMA office at the show.
