Show guaranteed to rock you to the top

7/11/2008

Rockin’ on Heaven’s Door returns to the Princes Hall in Aldershot on Wednesday, November 12 at 7.45pm, bringing sheer enjoyment to everyone who sees this uplifting show.

After Jerry Lee Lewis (Darren Green) and his amazing Great Balls of Fire, there is no one better than The Big Bopper (J S Rawlings) to get the show going with Chantilly Lace.

Leather-clad heartthrob Eddie Cochran (Steve Halliday) follows, with the ladies eating out of his hand with the classics Twenty Flight Rock and Hallelujah, I Love Her So.

Buddy Holly (Dave Wickenden) skips his way energetically across the stage wielding his Fender Stratocaster, giving an animated performance full of life, oozing vitality and energy.

Closing the first half of the show is Roy Orbison (Barry Steele) with his spellbinding rendition of Crying.

The end of the interval heralds The King (Richard Atkins), who strides on stage to dominate the second half with his reincarnation of 70s’ Elvis.

During an utterly memorable Love Me Tender, Elvis sets off around the theatre with the roving mic, shaking hands and giving away scarves to the fans.

Towards the end of the show, the legends appear together for their breathtaking version of American Trilogy in a dream 'super-group' finale.

Pre-show dinners are also available and will be served in the Tichbourne Suite. To book your meal, please call the box office on 01252 329155.

Tickets are £16.50; concessions £15.50; friends £14.50 and are available from the box office on 01252 329155 or via www.princeshall.com
