TEN Bears are the hot unsigned tip for 2009 and audiences can hear them first at ClubtheDisco, at the Boileroom, Guildford, on December 5.

ClubtheDisco is the venue’s flagship Indie/Alternative Club Night. Featuring guest bands and DJs, it is home to the most diverse alternative playlist in the town.

Lead by the captivatingly aloof Sam Hammond, Ten Bears already have Manchester’s music venues rammed at the seams, with fans clamouring for air between songs.

Their energetic rock ‘n’ roll unearths songs such as Charlie and To The Moon as classic pop gems, and brings to life the chronicles of the Ten Bears themselves; Kris Hudson, Luke Swift, Zoob, Tim and of course Sam.

Their debut single is Dirt on the Radio, an infectious groove-inspired track, released in January next year. It also featured as T4’s Orange Unsigned Act theme tune which was aired in November.

They are currently in the studio working with Ric Levy (Yeah Yeah Yeah’s/Mystery Jets), and started their first UK tour in November.

ClubtheDisco featuring Ten Bears runs from 7pm to 1am and is free before 10pm.
