POP, soul and R&B star Lemar held a masterclass for students at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford this week.
The singer/songwriter, who shot to fame after his appearance on the first series of BBC TV talent show Fame Academy, is celebrating a decade of success in the music industry having notched up seven UK Top 10 singles and more than two million album sales.
Lemar spoke to ACM students about his experiences within the ever-changing world of music, which have included sharing the stage with artists such as Beyonce, Lionel Richie, Usher and Justin Timberlake.
He said: ”This facility is amazing, if I was beginning my career I would definitely start here.
"If my children decide music is the path that they would like to take, then I want them to enrol in ACM.”
