Heath on record
22/11/2007
LOCAL residents interested in family or house history, or who would like to learn more about what their town or village looked like 100 years ago, are invited to drop in to Surrey Heath Museum in Knoll Road, Camberley on Saturday, November 24 for Surrey Heath On Record.
This event, from 11am to 4pm, will give residents the chance to browse through the museum’s local history holdings, including rate books, newspapers, photographs and maps. The museum’s buildings database, which lists the dates many local houses were built, will also be available.
Advice will be on hand all day together with a display about records held at Surrey History Centre.
