Matti Hemmings gives BMX workshop

Watch and learn new BMX bike skills from UK Flatland Champion Matti Hemmings when he gives a performance workshop at Westfield Primary School, Woking on Friday February 17, at 3pm.

The event is part of an exciting new youth project by Surrey Arts to reach young people from all over the county.

Matti Hemmings will be promoting the sport, Flatland BMX, sharing his incredible skills, encouraging an awareness of the sport and its growing popularity in and throughout the UK, with a talk on saftey and tips for tricks and moves. Surrey Arts are also looking for local BMXers who are able to come to the weekly sessions to share their skills with the young people and perform in the Takeover project at the Royal Albert Hall on May 29.

Takeover is an arts fusion project involving Hip Hop, BMX skills and contemporary music.
