COUNCIL chiefs are looking over exciting new plans to regenerate one of the most destitute areas in the south - while also potentially safeguarding the future of Farnborough Football Club.

A well-funded proposal to completely rebuild the derelict Moor Road area of the town - including a state-of-the-art sports facility plus a playground and park land - was said to have received a "very positive response" from Rushmoor council.
