Man in his fifties taken to hospital with head and leg injuries described as 'not life threatening'
A man was injured when he was hit by a car in Aldershot on Wednesday evening.
The man, said to be in his fifties, was knocked down in Ash Road, close to the junction with Herrett Street, at around 7.45pm on Monday (October 14).
An ambulance and a car carrying paramedics were sent to the scene to treat the man, who was seen lying on the pavement covered in a blanket.
He suffered head and leg injuries and was taken by ambulance to Frimley Park Hospital.
Police officers were also at the scene.
A South East Coast Ambulance Service said he was taken to hospital as a priority patient, but his condition was not thought to be life-threatening.
