This week's book reviews are for The Classic Adventures of Paddington: Slipcase Edition by Michael Bond and illustrated by Peggy Fortnum, and Close To The Wind by Jon Walter.

There are 15 Junior News & Mail prize winners who each get a voucher for swimming, bowling or donuting sessions.

Forty-one of our members have birthdays from August 29 to September 4. Each birthday member will either receive a voucher for Archie's Launchpad indoor playspace at Farnham or a movie voucher for Ambassadors Cinemas, Woking.
