Amy Winehouse's final designs
February 17, 2012
Fred Perry is one of Britain’s best loved fashion brands. Music lovers for generations have been drawn to the brand as the iconic brand for the indie, alternative and rock music scenes and love wearing Fred Perry shirts with its famous wreath emblem.
Over the years, Fred Perry has supported many up and coming new artists and have collaborated with some music legends including the late Amy Winehouse. Prior to her passing in 2011, Amy had been collaborating with Fred Perry and designed a number of collections inspired by her loves, passions and interests.
Fred Perry have decided to release the remaining pieces from her final Spring/Summer 2012 collection and the royalties from the sales of the collection will go to The Amy Winehouse Foundation. Amy’s last collection is inspired by her love of 50s rock and roll including an amazingly unique Fred Perry shirt with an uber-cool print of Cadillacs, juke boxes and sunglasses in pink and black.
This truly special collection is achingly cool and on trend, as the vintage ‘50s look continues to be a popular trend this season.
Fred Perry has also collaborated with the influential band, the Specials, and Fred Perry shirts inspired by the band’s iconic monochrome look are also available.
Check out these collections and other fabulous shirts and jeans for men, women, girls and boys.
