Disposing of electrical equipment can be a tricky business, but an Eversley -based firm is taking the headache out of the matter.

iWaste, Intelligent Waste Management, is a waste electrical and electronic equipment treatment facility which has been nominated for the Small Business of the Year award .

The team of five is headed by directors Sam Prentice and Sam Mountain.

Mr Prentice said: “We collect and treat all categories of business waste electronics, securely disposing of any secure data and the rest is shredded and re-used in raw materials.

“We then issue the client with certificates of destruction showing full duty of care.

“Sam and I have around eight years of experience within the industry and saw a gap in the market. This mainly surrounded customer service and ensuring the client is happy with the service they were being provided with.”

The company is now looking to build on this success, and is excited at the prospect of the upcoming awards.

Mr Prentice said: “Its an exciting time, and we have been selected by the Inspire Award judges as finalists for Small Business of the Year.

“We are hopeful and happy to be finalists.”
