Jane's a rising star in Lex firmament

JANE Garner-Whittle, who lives in Camberley and is the centre manager for BSM in Guildford, has been recognised as being one of the top sales professionals in the Lex organisation.

And as a reward for her success she has had a star named after her. The newly-named Garner-Whittle star lies in the Auriga constellation.

Jane received her chairman's award for sales excellence at a ceremony held at the Carlton Tower Hotel in Knightsbridge, London.

The awards, established in 1992, recognise outstanding contributions to sales but, equally importantly, acknowledge commitment to customer service and customer retention.

Jane's star has been logged in the Register of Stars, which is stored in the British Library in London and the American Library of Congress.

Commenting on the awards Sir Trevor Chinn - chairman of Lex Service plc, a leading provider of motoring and vehicle solutions - said: "In 2001 we achieved our best results for some years, with tremendous organic growth achieved in both our consumer and business markets, thanks in no small part to the contribution from our sales excellence award winners."
