At a recent award ceremony, she was handed the title and presented with a cheque for £250 and a bottle of champagne.

Jeanette, 35, works as a contract services manager for the company, which provides catering and hotel services to the Ministry of Defence throughout the United Kingdom.

Now working in Bordon, Jeanette heads a 172-strong team providing support services to the garrison, including catering and cleaning.

Previously at RAF Northolt in Middlesex as site manager, Jeanette's achievements included the successful introduction of a high street style restaurant in place of the old junior ranks' canteen.

She was chosen for the award from Eurest Defence Support Services managers across the country and was praised for her good work at the ceremony.

Eurest Defence Support Services operations director Paul Stevens (pictured left with Jeanette) said: "Jeanette thoroughly deserves this award.

"She loves what she does and is dedicated to providing a top-class service for her clients. She did a fantastic job for us at RAF Northolt and is setting the same high standards at Bordon."

Jeanette, who lives with her husband Les and ten-year-old daughter Victoria, explained her reaction to winning the title.

"I was absolutely amazed when they announced I had won," she said.

"I enjoy the variety my job brings and I get tremendous support from the people I work with."
