Office conveys new meaning

SOLICITORS Foster Wells have opened a new office at their Aldershot headquarters dedicated to conveyancing cases.

Local estate agents and clients joined associates and senior partners at 128 Victoria Road for the grand opening.

The new office is headed by Victor Hatch, a solicitor with 30 years' experience and an impressive career history in local firms.

In the past he has dealt with a range of matters including crime and employment, and has recently been working to set up the new conveyancing office specialising in commercial and residential work.

He said: "The new office is much more spacious and it allows us to concentrate on land ownership issues.

"We can work more as a team, and the new style of premises makes us more accessible to the public."

The new office could be mistaken for an estate agents from the outside.

Foster Wells hope that the design will prove less daunting and enable prospective clients to call in, ask questions and obtain advice.

The main Foster Wells office remains at 126 Victoria Road, where they have experts in matrimonial and family matters, probate and trusts, criminal, mental health and military law.

A free advice drop-in session is held on Tuesday evenings for clients with matrimonial and family law issues, and a 24-hour service is offered to clients who need free representation at the police station.

More information about the firm's services can be obtained by visiting its new website, which has been launched to coincide with the opening of the new office.
