Central Tyre in Blackwater has introduced the revolutionary Dent Wizard to its fast-fit centre on the A30 and says that expensive repairs and several days without your car are a thing of the past.
The Dent Wizard paintless repair system uses highly specialised tools and methods to erase dents quickly and effectively, without sanding, filling or the need for repainting.
Now these specialist technicians can repair almost any sort of dent from door dings to large dents, creases, stone chips and dents in difficult to reach places, and the time it takes is drastically reduced.
Dave Schaulat, chief technician for Dent Wizard (pictured), has been working for the company, which began in America, for 12 years.
He is heading the pilot scheme, along with managers of Central Tyre, and is certain that once people are aware of what they can do it will be a roaring success.
"We have 125 mobile technicians who can be called out to wherever you are," he said.
"It is a learning curve. The public don't know about it yet, but we are two-thirds of the way through our pilot programme and the response has been great.
"It has been super and we've had great help from Central Tyre. What we offer is an impact service. People's cars are their second most valuable possessions usually and we warranty the work we do."
Prices start from £59 for a pound coin size dent to £99 for one the size of a tennis ball. Anything bigger is subject to appraisals.
"We calculate that it's about one-third of the price that you would be charged at a body shop, and the beauty is that you don't lose your car because the work can be done so quickly," Mr Schaulat added.
Dent Wizard is popular not just with individuals but also with insurance companies, corporate car fleets and car hire companies which appreciate the benefits of keeping cars on the road and out of the bodyshop.
