Solicitor celebrates 40 years with company

TANNER & Taylor solicitors marked 40 years' service of one of their partners at a garden party for staff, clients and friends.

Clive Barker joined the firm straight from school and worked his way up to become a partner 32 years ago.

He told guests how he had enjoyed working at Tanner & Taylor, paying tribute to the founding partners and his fellow partners for the way the firm has thrived and maintained a commitment to service.

The practice continues to expand, with offices in Aldershot, Farnham, Farnborough and Fleet.

Mr Barker, now based at Fleet, also spoke of the changes in the way legal practice has been conducted during his four decades in the profession.

Founding partner Walford Taylor attended the party, at which music was provided by a string quartet, and presented Mr Barker with a bottle of vintage port.

Clive is pictured second from right with fellow partners Pat Carr, John O'Dowd-Booth, Issy Hogg and Neeta Mehta.
