A LINK between Aldershot Football Club and the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice has kicked-off with a cheque presentation.
The money, £1189, was raised in memory of Ray Jolly, a staunch Shots' supporter, who passed away last year.
Members of his family presented the cheque (left) to Chris Tuckwell, president of the Farnham-based hospice, at half-time during the Ryman Premier division side's victory over Boreham Wood.
Shots' chairman Karl Prentice later presented an "In Partnership" pendant to Mr Tuckwell on behalf of the club.
The ceremony marked the launch of a partnership between the club and the hospice.
Philip Thompson, chairman of the Aldershot Civic Trust, also made a presentation to the hospice.
