A motorcyclist has died following a crash in Aldershot on Sunday evening.
The incident happened at around 8.20pm when the man's Yamaha bike crashed on the A323 Wellington Avenue.
A spokesman from Hampshire Constabulary said the motorcycle had been travelling from the Wellington roundabout towards the Willems roundabout at the time.
The rider was pronounced dead at the scene and formal identification procedures are now being completed.
Matt Eason, who lives in Wingate Court opposite Aldershot Tesco, said he did not hear the crash but saw the air ambulance circling overhead.
"We occasionally hear the police helicopter but it kept getting louder so I looked out of the window and saw it descending over Tesco and landing in the car park," he told Get Hampshire.
"It was on the ground for maybe 10 or 15 minutes before it took off again and circled the area."
Posting on the Get Hampshire Facebook page, Sarah Davison wrote: "I saw this as [I] drove home round the roundabout when the ambulance was there.
"I saw the bike on the floor and loads of cars stopped and people standing around watching.
"I live in Wingate Court and heard and saw the air ambulance too. So sad. RIP."
Officers investigating the cause of the crash would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Roads Policing Team at Whitchurch Police Station on 101.
