A THREE-headed alien will be shocking shoppers in Farnborough on February 16.

The creature, called Skitzo, will be helping judge an alien fancy dress competition in the Princes Mead shopping centre at 3pm.

Also judging will be the Mayor of Rushmoor, Charles Choudhary, and a representative from British Gas, which is sponsoring the shopping centre's third comic and sci-fi promotion.

The six-day event was opened (see picture) on February 11 by the Mayor, helped by the Alien Babies, and Janine Wilkinson from British Gas.

This year's promotion features trade stands selling all forms of sci-fi memorabilia, a Hollywood Hall of Fame with 12 life-sized models, a set from one of the James Bond films and Stormtroopers from Star Wars.

The winner of the fancy dress competition will receive an X Box — the latest games console being launched in March.

There is also a free prize draw with a chance to win £100 worth of Princes Mead shopping vouchers.
