Former pupils came from round the world for the 40th anniversary reunion (above) of All Hallows School, Weybourne.

Some 177 ex-pupils and teachers attended the event at Prince's Hall, Aldershot.

They travelled from all over the UK and Europe, with some from Ireland, the USA and Australia.

Old school friends and teachers who were at the school since it opened in the 1960s had a chance to renew their acquaintance and exchange phone numbers and addresses.

Organisers think it may be the largest gathering for a school reunion and have sent details to the Guinness Book of Records.

So popular was the event that a second get together is planned, also at the Princes Hall, on Saturday, Nov 9. Tickets are £10, on sale from Sept 1.
