Police appeal for help to find missing Yateley man

Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing man from Yateley

Andrew Chalkley is missing from his Yateley home

Efforts are continuing to trace a missing man from Yateley who has not been seen for more than 48 hours.

Andrew Chalkley left his home in Goldcrest Close without any cash or banks cards, and there is great concern for his welfare.

He was last seen by a neighbour in his road at around 11.45am  on Tuesday (April 22).

The 50-year-old was reported missing to police later that evening due to concerns for his poor health.

It is believed he would not have travelled far and attempts to locate him are being focused in the local area.

Andrew is described as a white man, of medium build, 6ft 1in tall, and with short black but greying hair. It is possible that he is wearing slippers rather than shoes.

He suffers with swollen feet and shortness of breath and therefore it is likely he will have been seen stopping in order to help his breathing if he is walking.

Acting Detective Inspector Paula James said: "I would urge the public to get in touch if they think they may have seen Andrew as any possible sightings could be vital in our search to locate him."
