Arrest made after van collides with Farnborough pub

A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after crashing into a pub in Farnborough.

On Saturday January 18, at around 12.55am a Volkswagen van collided with the wall of the Squirrel public house in Park Road.

A 25-year-old man from Hook was arrested and has been released on bail until Thursday January 24.

A witness of the incident said nobody was injured.

Rushmoor Fire Station was called to the scene around 1.10am to make the area safe.
