A PETROL filling station employee at Camberley suffered a facial injury after being attacked during the early hours.

He was manning the payment kiosk at the Esso service station in Frimley Road when he was punched in the face.

His attackers made off in a silver VW Golf. The occupants are believed to have been two men and a woman.

A police spokeswoman said that the 21-year-old victim sustained a bruised cheekbone which did not require hospital treatment.

Two people have been arrested and released on bail.

Camberley police have appealed for information from anyone who saw the assault which happened at 2.15am on December 15.
