STUDENTS leaving Oak Farm Community School in Cove traditionally try to find the most original way of arriving at their Prom.
In previous years a hovercraft, dustcart and army tractor unit have played their part in providing Cinderella with her golden coach.
This year the prize for the most unusual mode of transport went to Kerrie Wheeler and Matthew Gardner.
With their combination of surnames there was only one choice — a decorated wheelbarrow, gallantly pushed by Matthew to an enormous cheer from parents, friends and staff who were waiting to welcome the students for the last time.
There was also the usual collection of sleek limousines carrying elegant ladies and dashing gents.
A great night was had by all as the partygoers danced the night away to music provided by Royston's Disco and enjoyed a buffet prepared and served by staff.
