FRIMLEY folk will shortly have a new place to gather for a snack and a cup of coffee as well as a high-class takeaway that has already opened.
It is all thanks to Camberley businessman Malcolm Northwood who has been looking for suitable premises in Frimley High Street for some time. Now Benson's has opened at No.74, a building that dates back to 1610 and was most recently a tailor's workshop.
Malcolm says he has been running a highly successful corporate catering business from home for some years and he has already had several enquiries from Frimley firms looking for a venue for business lunches.
The shop is double fronted. On the left hand side and already open is the takeaway featuring something new for Frimley -a range of ciabatta breads, baguettes, home made salads, pork pies, sausage rolls and jacket potatoes.
When the coffee and tea shop opens in a fortnight it will feature cream teas, toasted teacakes, salads and other delights. To contact Malcolm ring 07798 723228.
