A motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital with spinal injuries after a crash in Farnborough.

The man in his 20s came off his motorcycle in Kennels Lane shortly before 3.25pm on Sunday March 9 and hit a tree.

An air ambulance, two road ambulances and a paramedics’ car attended the scene and treated the man, who was experiencing back pain.

Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service officers from Rushmoor fire station arrived at around 4pm to help the paramedics to lift him into the air ambulance helicopter and he was flown to Southampton General Hospital for further treatment.
