EMPLOYEES at BAE Systems in Farnborough received the benefits of a BiteSize massage course on Friday.
BiteSize courses are a Hampshire County Council initiative to give adults the chance to learn something new in fun one-off sessions.
Massage therapist and BiteSize tutor Jennie Hamel-Cooke gave workers a head, shoulder and hand massage.
She said: "People sitting at desks for a long time are often hunched up, which creates aching shoulders and necks, so massage can be a great way of relaxing and easing muscle tension."
Audrey Williams, BAe's learning resource manager, said:"We do encourage people to learn and take part in the courses — it is all part of their personal development and helps them to learn new skills."
More than 70 people attended to find out about BiteSize courses and many visited Mrs Hamel-Cooke for a massage.
The forthcoming two-hour courses include one on FA Cup giant killers and the story behind Beatles songs.
More free BiteSize courses are on offer this summer at Farnborough College of Technology, including web design and Indian cookery. Call 01252 407040 for details.
