A TEENAGER was threatened with a baseball bat and robbed of his £3,000 mountain bike in Sandhurst.

The 16-year-old boy was riding through Snaprails Recreation Park in Wellington Road when he was pushed off his mountain bike by a man.

He was then threatened with a baseball bat and told not to move while the offender made off on his bike.

The boy, who was shaken by the incident, managed to walk home and contacted police.

Police are appealing for

witnesses and are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen a man carrying a baseball bat before the incident, which

happened between 4pm and 4.15pm on Monday last week, or riding off with the bicycle shortly afterwards.

The make and model of the mountain bike is ‘Kona — Mano Mano'. It has a white frame and estimated to be valued at just under £3,000.
