A PENSIONER was pushed to the floor by two burglars as they fled from his Frimley Green home last Thursday.

The 70-year-old disturbed the pair at lunchtime as they ransacked his home in Guildford Road.

They escaped in a red Ford Fiesta which had been stolen earlier in the day from outside Farnborough main railway station.

Later the car was seen by a police patrol at Feltham. They gave chase, but the villains escaped after abandoning the vehicle.

Judy Williams, Camberley police press officer, said: "It seems these people caught the train to Farnborough from the London area with a view to carrying out a burglary."

Both villains were white, in their early 20s and about 6ft tall.

Their victim, who was badly shaken by the incident, has not yet been able to tell police what, if anything, was stolen.
