THE ArtsLink Theatre, Camberley, has changed its name to The Camberley Theatre.

The new image was launched by The Mayor of Surrey Heath, Coun. Ray Christie, helped by his wife and characters from the theatre's pantomime.

The change in name comes at an exciting time for The Camberley Theatre. The pantomime looks set to break box-office records and details of a star-studded spring season have just been announced.

Celebrities who will be appearing over the next few months include Honor Blackman, George Melly, Joe Brown, The Reduced Shakespeare Company, Joe Pasquale, The Counterfeit Stones and many more.

The theatre will also be introducing a wide range of classes for children and adults over the coming months, to be run by recently-appointed Arts Development Officer Nikki Ward.

Graham Bennett, the General Manager, said: "I am delighted that the name is changed to The Camberley Theatre. This tells everyone where we are and what we do."
