BURGLARS escaped with property totalling £1500 from a Camberley house, despite being disturbed by a parcel delivery man.

The two villains, who smashed a window to get into the Gordon Road home, were removing property when the parcel van drew up.

They ran from the house and jumped into a silver Peugeot 206 which was driven by an accomplice.

The car sped off with the hatchback door still open, and with a Sony television set and other stolen items on board.

One of the thieves is described as aged about 20, 6ft tall and of thin build.

Police are examining CCTV footage in the hope that it will reveal vital clues.

They have also appealed for information from anyone who was in the area at just after lunchtime last Friday when the burglary took place.

Witnesses should contact WPC Nicola Jepp on 01276 27131.
