Camberley man arrested after Cove bookies robbery

A 31-year-old man has been arrested and bailed on suspicion of robbery in connection with a raid at Coral bookmakers in Cove

A Camberley man has been arrested on suspicion of robbery following a raid at a bookmakers in Cove.

The 31-year-old was arrested on Friday night (March 28) and subsequently released on bail until April 28 pending further enquiries.

The Coral betting shop, in Cove Road, was raided shortly before 12.30pm last Thursday (March 27).

Police said the offender entered the store and threatened staff before making off with cash.
