This CCTV footage shows the moment around £3,000 of tools was allegedly stolen from a van in Aldershot.
Colin Fyfield, 43, owner of Hampshire/Surrey border building company Poly-Morph, said he had his company van broken into while it was parked overnight outside his home in Holly Road, Aldershot.
The incident took place at 11.35pm on Tuesday March 29, when two men were seen on CCTV next to the white Fiat van.
Video showed the two suspects appearing to force open the side sliding door before taking the tools and driving off in a Ford Focus.
Mr Fyfield has appealed for help in identifying the suspects.
He said: “The police called us about 3am and said there was some glass on the road outside and that the van had been broken in to.
“We went down and found the door open and screwdriver case on floor and most of the stuff in the van had gone, our tools had gone.
“It’s not a nice one to wake up to at 3am.”
He said his business and staff had been hit really hard by the incident.
“We’re gutted,” Mr Fyfield said. “We worked really hard for the tools that we have and it’s just an awful thing to happen.
“It’s hit us hard as it’s taken 10 to 15 years to build up our tools, you start off with the basics and get the expensive ones down the line.
“We try to do the best job that we can and to do that you need the best tools, it’s a long road to get those back and morale is quite down now.
“You just always want to do your best and it’s upset all of us, we have two other guys work for us and it was some of their tools as well that went.”
