A ROYAL Mail worker has been charged with three driving offences following the death of a teenager on the A30 at Blackbushe in August.

Robin Quelch, aged 53, of Gosport, is accused of failing to stop after a road accident; failing to report a road accident, and failing to notify a disability to the DVLA.

Mr Quelch, who has been charged following police consultations with the Crown Prosecution Service, is due to appear before Aldershot magistrates today (Thursday).

The case relates to the death of 15-year-old Mark Ayres, of Beaulieu Gardens, Blackwater, who was in collision with a vehicle while walking along the A30 late at night on August 13.
