NORWOOD, the charity which runs Ravenswood Village in Crowthorne — a centre for adults and children with learning disabilities — has launched its latest fund-raising ‘Designs of the Times' exhibition in London.

The exhibition is currently on show at the Audi Forum, Piccadilly, and includes the first ever collection of designs modelled by celebrities including Nicole Kidman, Kate Winslet and Kylie Minogue.

The exhibits will be on show until Monday, March 24, when they will be transferred to Planet Hollywood in Leicester Square, for the ‘Designs of the Times' gala dinner and auction.

All proceeds from the auction will go to Norwood and Demelza House, a children's hospice in Kent.

Ty Europe — makers of Beanie Babies — are co-sponsoring the event.

Steven Howard, chairman of ‘Design of the Times', said: "We decided this next fund-raising venture would be based around fashion and design.

"To give the project relevance to Ty, we would then re-create some of these outfits, on their recently launched Beanie Kids."

The ‘Design of the Times' auction starts at 7pm on March 25.
