THE Katherine Appeal, which aims to raise over £140,000 needed to cure a local girl of her severe epilepsy, is holding a dance night.

The event, at Salesian College, Farnborough, on Saturday, February 16, will be an evening of dancing to ballroom and latin music, including live sets from a solo female artist and a local band, "The Wild Things" (led by Peter Staples, once of the "Troggs".

The Katherine Appeal has been established to get treatment for Frimley Green girl Katherine Kendall, who suffers from crippling epilepsy.

Her parents, Anna and Nigel, are desperate to see their daughter given back the freedom she has been denied for so long.
