The skies darkened and gales whipped up in Hampshire on Friday afternoon as another big storm swept across the county.

A bright, sunny sky darkened as thick, black clouds rolled in and the rain began lashing down as rumbles of thunder could be heard.

People on north-east Hampshire reported the skies turning very dark and heavy downpours of rain.

In some areas, residents said there was standing water on the roads and motorists were advised to drive carefully.

Get Hampshire readers shared dozens of photos and videos from a huge storm in the early hours of the morning last Friday (July 18) after thunder and lightning hit Surrey and north-east Hampshire.
