Driver dies in A331 relief road barriers crash

The man from Farnborough was pronounced dead at Frimley Park Hospital following the crash in the early hours of Sunday

A Farnborough man has died after his car smashed into road barriers on a dual carriageway in the early hours of Sunday (July 13).

Police are appealing for other motorists to come forward after the red VW Golf crashed on the northbound A331 Blackwater Valley relief road at 12.25am.

The 48-year-old driver was taken to Frimley Park Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

There were no other vehicles involved in the collision and no-one else was hurt.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Sergeant Andy Noble at Whitchurch Roads Policing Unit on 101, quoting Operation Bottisham.
