Police have released an image of a man in connection with a spate of burglaries in Cove, involving the forced entry of rear doors of several homes
Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to in relation to a series of burglaries in Cove.
One of the incidents occurred on November 20, where a house in Avenue Road was broken into between 3.15pm and 3.50pm, and it is not known what was taken.
Four men were seen to leave the house, one is described as white, under 6ft tall, aged in his early to mid 20s and of a slim build with dark hair.
He was clean shaven and was wearing a black beanie hat, a black jacket and dark trousers.
Another is described as white, shorter and stockier than the first man, with short dark hair and around 5ft 8" tall.
He was also clean shaven, aged in his mid to late 20s, wearing a grey flat cap, a grey body warmer with a short sleeved shirt or t-shirt underneath and dark jeans.
A third man was described as white, around 5ft 8" tall, aged in his late 40s with a 'worn face'. He was wearing a dark green jacket, a dark grey flat cap and appeared to be bald underneath.
Another man was described as white but no other description was given.
PC Tom Whittle said: “The man in the e-fit is just one of the men believed to be involved in this burglary.
“We are also investigating a further seven burglaries in the Cove area of Farnborough which happened on November 15 and 20. All took place between 3pm and 6pm and entry was gained by forcing rear doors.
“We would also like to hear from anyone who has seen a silver or white Volkswagen Bora or Passat, which was seen in the area before the burglaries took place.”
Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Whittle at Aldershot Police Station on 101 or call Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111,
