A cyclist was taken to hospital following a crash in Farnborough on Friday.

It is believed the rider, a man aged in his 50s, was in collision with the back of a blue BMW at the junction of Farnborough Road and Prospect Avenue at around 3.50pm.

He came off his bike and was taken to Frimley Park Hospital.

A spokesperson for South East Coast Ambulance Service said the man was fully conscious although the extent of his injuries was unclear.

Hampshire police officers were also called to the scene. The A325 was blocked in both directions but cleared by 4.50pm
