Farnborough man dies in Gloucestershire crash

A 37-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene of a crash in Northleach on Monday

Police closed the road for investigations

A Farnborough man has died after the vehicle he was driving left the road and collided with a tree near Northleach in Gloucestershire this week.

The 37-year-old was driving a white Ford Transit van which went off the road and struck a tree off the A429 Fosse Way, between Northleach roundabout and Stow-on-the-Wold, on Monday April 7 shortly after 11.30pm.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. The road was closed for six hours to allow for a detailed collision investigation to take place.

Gloucestershire Constabulary, which has not named the man, is investigating the crash.
