Four people freed on bail after Aldershot drugs raid

Two suspects from the town, plus a man and woman from Devon, were arrested on suspicion of possessing a Class A drug

Four people who were arrested during a drugs raid in Aldershot have been released on bail until next month.

A 35-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman, both from the town, and another man and woman, both 43 and from Tiverton in Devon, were held when nine plain-clothed and uniformed officers raided a house in Upper Union Street last Wednesday afternoon (April 2).

They were detained on suspicion of possessing a Class A drug, while police removed a number of plastic bags from the property.

The four have since been bailed pending further enquiries until May 14.
