HART Council Chairman Coun. Jonathan Glen has chosen two local causes for the chairman's charity for this municipal year, 2002/2003.They are the Frimley Park Hospital PET appeal and Home-Start North East Hampshire.
The Frimley Park Hospital £500,000 appeal aims to raise funds to expand the nuclear medicine imaging capability to detect and diagnose "hidden" cancers in the early stages.
Home-Start is a voluntary organisation offering free and confidential support, friendship and practical help to families at home with children under five.
These two charities will benefit from the chairmans's fundraising activities throughout the year.
