ASDA Farnborough worker Jean Gosling is soon off to the Commonwealth Games in Manchester where she is official scorer and timekeeper in the netball contest.

Jean (68), who has worked at ASDA for four years, has always been a keen netball player and spent much of her adult life scoring and timekeeping at international tournaments.

She said: "I am delighted to be involved in the Manchester 2002 Commonwealth Games and am looking forward to the day when I can get stuck in to my role. I have been a scorer on several occasions and really enjoy the atmosphere and team spirit that goes along with it." The games are on from July 25 - August 4.
