YOUNG artists who entered a picture competition as part of the activities at the Aldershot Prince's Hall and Farnborough Wavell-Cody Community Campus playschemes, have been presented with prizes.

The Mayor chose the winning designs which will appear on this year's summer fun brochure. The children had the brief of designing a picture depicting what they thought about the summer holidays.

Overall winner is Amy Adams, 11, from Farnborough, pictured above. Her imaginative design included summer flowers, grass and bees. The Mayor presented Amy with a bag of goodies and tickets for four people to see a summertime pop tribute concert at the Prince's Hall, Aldershot, during August.

The runners up include Sophie Taylor, 11; Sian O'Halloran-Dyke, eight, Jack Bicknell, 11, Elliot Croft, eight, Callum Corrall, six, Callum Dix, seven and Tom Bicknell, eight.

All runners-up received a goodie bag, including a sketch pad, glitter scented gel pens, purse, water bottle and peaked cap.
